I decided that I really needed to reboot my body to be able to keep up with Kieran and to keep participating in the activities that I love for the rest of my life.  The first step was to check out where my body is, where I am lacking the functionality I need to do the things I want.  This video shows how I got the data to help inform a movement program to get me where I want to be.

This awakening started for me when I herniated a disk in my back a few years ago.  I have always been active in my life pursuing skiing, biking, running and other outdoor fun, but what woke me up after my injury was that I was not able pick up Kieran.  I couldn’t interact with him the way I desired.  My health was now getting in the way of the relationships with the people I cared about most.

My motivation to be healthy and functional the rest of my life was greatly increased because I now had a whole different perspective of why it mattered, why it was important to me.  It was now not just about me.
